Delete your online account
- Open WorldNiche and sign in to the account you want to delete. Go to Profile.
- Open Settings using the gear button.
- Choose Delete account and all data and confirm.
- Complete any account verification shown. If you used Sign in with Apple, the app may ask you to authorize with Apple again to revoke access.
Keep an internet connection while the request completes. If the app shows Finish deleting account and data, the deletion is still pending. Follow the recovery steps or contact support. An error is not a successful deletion.
What this removes
The deletion flow removes your authentication account, profile, profile photo in service storage, friendships, shared exploration records, invitations, blocks, and reports tied to the account from the active service. It then clears this device's app data and session.
Provider logs and backups can remain under their retention and recovery controls. Files you exported, messages you sent outside WorldNiche, and copies held by someone else are not erased by this action. See retention and deletion.
Only clearing this device?
Profile → Settings → Clear data on this device clears the local profile, journal, saved and explored countries, discovery reading history, and app-managed local photos and exports, and signs you out. It does not delete your online account.
Signing out, uninstalling, and revoking access through Apple settings are also different from deleting your WorldNiche account. To remove the account and its active service data, use the account deletion action above.
Keep a copy first
Use Profile → Settings → Export my data before deleting if you want a copy of the profile, journal, and account records included in the export. Keep that file private. A copy saved outside the app remains under your control.
